This is a hidden gem. The house is luxe without being intimidating. The view is spectacular. The staff are lovely without being intrusive. Thoroughly recommend. I actually don't think the photos do justice to the place (which is the opposite of most listings). It is even more special and beautiful in person. I didn't try the dinner but wish I had.

Beautiful and well kept estate in a natural and rugged setting. The front of house staff (Maura, Mary & Geraldine) were exceptional, making you feel completely at home yet spoiled red rotten. Bed was comfortable and room was spotless and spacious with old manor luxury. Food was phenomenal, the chefs created delicious, high quality, beautifully presented food for the set menu each evening and the breakfast was 5 star too. The drawing room allowed a quiet place to relax and read during the day and the beginning of social fun with all other guests in the evening. The communal table for dining made for entertainment, everyone chatting and sharing stories, loved it. We were there for my husband’s 40th birthday and staff frequently went above and beyond over the weekend to mark it in fun and thoughtful ways. Thanks for having us and providing a Céad Míle Fáilte!

The B&B is lovely and the hosts are truly welcoming and friendly. The short walk to town is a lovely nature path. The snooker table was a great surprise. We strongly recommend this place.

Everything. A lovely B & B in the countryside by a lake. Sylvain & Mary are wonderful generous hosts. They provided a laundry service which was very well priced. Breakfast was superb. You can choose to have dinner there which we did for 1 or our 2 nights. It was superb home cooking & again very reasonably priced. Highly recommend

The lodge is in a very beautiful place, surrounded by nature and animals. Clifden is 5 min by car. Everything was perfect at the hillside lodge. The breakfast was amazing and the hosts too!

Really nice chalet. Really clean with everything you might need for a stay with 2 people. Perfectly furnished and nicely decorated. Connected TV, deliciously smelling soap.
Available owners. The chalet is close to the house and the garden shared, but wasn’t a problem for us.
