Incredible clean, the towela and bed sheet has a very pleasant smell. The place in clean and well kept. Restaurant available. Location just fantastic, in the middle of the nature. BUT you should know that it is more or less 20 Min walk/hike trouth the forest form the last area which is accessable by car or bike. So if you have a big luggage it can be taff.

The breakfast was simple but tasty, and the guides were awesome. If we had more time, we would've totally gone into the jungle for a two-day adventure. The staff was super friendly, and we loved being surrounded by nature. We even got to watch langurs up close by the riverbank, making our stay extra special. Overall, it was a laid-back and memorable experience.

From the moment we set off, their expertise and passion for the jungle were evident. They shared fascinating knowledge about the flora and fauna, and their guidance made the adventure both thrilling and educational. The trek through the lush, vibrant jungle was an unforgettable experience, and they ensured we were always safe while exploring hidden gems in nature. Their enthusiasm and professionalism made the entire trip enjoyable and memorable. We sow eight orangutans! The food also was delicious! I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an adventure in the heart of the jungle! Thank you guys!

Initially booked for 1 night and then stayed for another 3! They have options of staying in the village or in the jungle, a tree house. I picked the latter. The place is simple and Udin's family that runs the place is amazing. Balu (Udin's son) was our trekking guide for the day and he was amazing. We saw 3 orangutans (a mama and a baby, and a lone one) along with other monkeys. Udin's wife Nuri cooks the food and every meal was lip smacking delicious. I was happy to be eating home food after my travels. On my last night in the village, Nuri was nice enough to give me a chicken rendang cooking class in her kitchen and then we ate the same dish with the entire family. All in all, if you're doing a Bukit Lawang trip it has to be with this family, or else are you really getting the authentic experience?

The restaurant attached has such a cool ambiance - a great place to read or study. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Rooms were very clean and neat and an easy walk towards the forest or shops nearby!
