I was sick when we arrived. So they took care very well and provided help all the time. The food was extraordinary. It was the best we had in 2 month in indonesia and of course the best of Raja Ampat. The island is a lovely place. The room and community area was filled with hospitality and lots of attention to detail (flower bucket on the bed when we arrived etc.). We did not want to leave this place. We will definetly come back. It was the best place we have ever been, and we have been to many places. We also did diving during our stay. It was very well. We dived with Like and Olen. They were bery knowledgable and showed us even the smallest and best hidden animals.

Continental and Asian breakfast options are available at the lodge. We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Friwen Mangrove Eco Lodge – this place is truly a slice of paradise. The bungalow is incredibly cozy, and the atmosphere is peaceful and serene. Rashid, the host, is one of the most caring and attentive people we’ve met – he made us feel completely at home. You can snorkel right from the doorstep of your bungalow, and honestly, even if you don’t go anywhere else, just being here is already magical. That said, it’s also a perfect base for exploring – Rashid has a boat and can take you to beautiful spots around the islands.

If you would like to discover the area, hiking, fishing and snorkelling are possible in the surroundings. A house reef is great (easy to see turtles, nice corals and so many fish!). Food was very tastefull and fresh. We liked the way it was served - on our terrace. Bungalow is beautiful and spacious ! You have a lot of drinking water in your bungalow. Hammock is very comfortable. They called us in the evening to see Kuskus. Their prices for excursions are very reasonable. Bathrooms were clean.

An Italian, Asian or vegetarian breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. Aldejus homestay was a super positive experience for us. The bungalows are super nice: a great bed with a good mosquito net, warm water shower (which is rare!!) and a comfortable toilet. The room was spacious, clean and luxurious for the homestays. The town near Aldejus was nice to visit, the beach beautiful. The food was delicious every meal, freshly cooked with variation. The people were super friendly, helpful and accommodating (the cute dogs were a perk). We could buy beer, coconuts and soft drinks for very reasonable prices. We did our diving with Tarzan diving, which is a 10min boat ride away (a lovely commute). Overall: we loved Aldejus and would definitely come back, a 100% recommend!!

Manta Ridge and Cape Kri are only a short boat ride away. The resort is a 20-minute walk away from the nearest village. The food was very good, the staff were excellent and very helpful any time we needed assistance. Several times they went out of their way to help us. The house reef was fantastic and snorkeling here was definitely a big highpoint of our visit. We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone traveling to this area.
