Extremely helpful staff members - did our washing for us with a rapid turn around, moved our suitcases to our new room on the second night, helped us with transport to the national park etc. Clean rooms with efficient fan and comfortable beds. Free bottled water provided, with beautiful views of sunset from kitchen and terrace. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

I can honestly say this is one of the best hostels I've stayed at during my entire trip! The place has just been renovated, so everything is sparkling clean. The design is modern and there are great safety features, like personal lockers in the dorms and big storage spaces for your luggage. It's right on Gaya Street, the heart of Kota Kinabalu, which makes it perfect for exploring the weekend markets. The hostel has such a welcoming vibe, and the staff make you feel like part of the family—they even bought me a beer! Thanks a lot, guys! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Kota Kinabalu. We had a wonderful stay at Tampat do Aman- Howard was so friendly and helpful, he showed us around and gave us recommendations what to do and where to eat( Inas café is really good). He cares about the local culture and environment and there is also a little museum about the people there( the Rungus) and their culture. We overall can really recommend staying there!
