The property was well designed and finished to a very high standard. The attention to detail was really good. The whole experience was great. One area we thought was outstanding was the outside space, a super large gas fuelled BBQ, a fire pit with logs etc provided, a four seater dining set and two lovely relaxers with small table allowed us to enjoy uninterrupted views of the forest and meadows surrounding us.

Woodlands Lodge Hotel is a privately owned 3-star country house hotel, in an idyllic location on the edge of the New Forest.

We very much appreciate the possibility to come with dogs and the great behaviour of all the staff. There is also a garden where dogs can be let loose.

The independent 4-star New Forest Lodge is located on the A36 just a mile from the edge of the New Forest within the National Park.

Lots of space. Lovely view. Clean, had everything we needed- towels, toiletries, hairdryers, fans, tea and coffee, milk, water in fridge, Indian restaurant/takeaway right next door. Perfect location for Peppa pig world. Friendly staff- happy to help.

It was a beautiful place, I loved the sizely lawn.

We are doing the Isle of Wight coastal path and it is perfectly placed to walk right in . There where 3 adults and we had plenty of space . So comfortable with everything we needed .
