Guests at On the Moor Shepherds Huts can enjoy hiking and cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. The location of the huts are very isolated in the best of ways with wild animals literally as soon as you leave the gates. Road access is very good despite being narrow at times for larger vehicles. The huts themselves were just cosy clean and a brilliant vibe and design. Complimentary scones were fantastic ☺️ Definitely coming back at some stage in the future as if you're looking for the perfect get away

They even invited us to a concert they organized. The balcony faces the stream. The room has a wood-burning fireplace. A stunning and magical place.

East Looe is an easy 10 minute walk. Lots to do in the area and the South West Coast Path is nearby. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Everything was exactly as advertised and Matt (the host) called ahead of time to review all details and make some local recommendations

The location was phenomenal. You have the sea right on your doorstep. They really thought everything through. The cabins are small but cozy and have all you need. The breakfast at the Colonial restaurant was delicious and so filling. The staff was amazing, especially Terry, who was incredibly kind. I stayed for my birthday and everyone was so sweet, helping my boyfriend surprise me with decorations and a cake. The value for money is unbeatable. It’s the perfect way to experience Newquay.

The 4-star chalet features garden views and is 25 km from Newquay Train Station. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. Bed was super firm and comfortable. Breakfast was yummy and freshly prepared.

Polgwedhen Lodge is a secluded lakeside holiday home surrounded by extensive gardens, private grounds and wildlife. Although hidden away in the peaceful Cornish countryside, the lodge is just 4 miles from the cathedral city of Truro. Free private parking is available on site. This is brilliant. The lodge overlooks a picturesque lake, complete with resident nesting ducks. There is a kitchen / dining / sitting area, along with a generous-sized bedroom (four poster bed) and separate bathroom. Upon our arrival we found scones, jam and cream waiting for us and a lovely welcoming note. We met our hosts the next morning, and we loved hearing about how they had built the lodge themselves. Definitely one of the best we have ever stayed in.

The en suite rooms at Chycara boast a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, a hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities. The country house also offers secluded self-catering chalets with a fully equipped kitchen. This location was amazing! The lodge was perfect (we were in Willow Lodge). Everything exceeded our expectations and we had an amazing stay (even though the weather wasn’t kind!) The kids could run around outside freely and safely. It’s a wonderful place to stay!

As the sun sets, the town and estuary transform into a mesmerizing spectacle of twinkling lights. The proximity to the beach is a definite highlight for those seeking a coastal retreat. Whether it's a morning walk along the shoreline or an evening spent watching the sunset, the convenience of being so close to the beach added an extra layer of relaxation to my stay. Equally impressive was the location relative to the culinary center, situated within a stone's throw from an array of delightful restaurants. Exploring the local food scene was a joy, with each dining establishment offering a unique blend of flavors. The convenience of having such a variety of dining options within walking distance made my evenings both convenient and delectable.
