In all honesty, there are no words strong enough to describe the feelings that you experience when visiting this place.
First off, the actual accommodation is wonderful, really pretty and very clean. The hotel features a restaurant which serves homemade meals which are prepared on the spot and taste great. We opted to have dinner at the hotel all the nights we spent here because we simply wouldn’t bother to look elsewhere after dining here once - and we usually like to explore more options.
In terms of service the hotel helped us organize our trips and excursions around the area, which was very convenient for us and, surprisingly was settled at prices very similar to the ones we found online (by unknown to us organizers) - sometimes even better!
Lastly and most importantly, the attentiveness and kindness of the staff has been truly unbelievable. Every single person from the staff helped and answered every question we had and they were always happy to do so.
We have travelled in many places around the world, yet the Nubian people have really been spectacularly amazing, both in terms of their hospitality and their kindness. Never have we ever felt so sincerely welcomed by accommodation staff. Each and every one have been unique in their own way and each and everyone stole a piece of our hearts.
We will be back!

The host was very nice and patient. Good man. The House has a beautiful view over the nile and is close to the boat dock. It is a simple and humble place, nicely cleaned and confortable. We loveled to stay there.

Extremely cozy and welcoming environment. Staff was very kind and hard-working. The location is far from most touristic sights (with exception of the Nubian Village, which is very close), but the staff was very helpful on providing transportation at all times for an affordable price and flexible schedules. Besides, the location is paradise-like: beautiful traditionally designed lodging and restaurant located right next to the Nile, where me and my husband bathed several times. The Island is also worth exploring, with an amazing view.
The food and fresh juice were also great, as well as the relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant.
Communication was a bit challenging for us who didn’t speak Arabic or Nubian, but the owners, who spoke English very well, were always available to assist us. Being able to count on the WhatsApp contact was very helpful by the way.

It is really a very atmosphere place. Especially in the evening. It seems to me it's rather hard to live here more than 1-2 nights, but not long periods are perfect. You can get to the island only by boat, you can see a famous fila island out of your window. The food is OK.

It's a private island with not many rooms and beautiful views of the Nile. The mud hut style feels nice. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is quite tasty. The dinner at the restaurant was a great introduction to Nubian food. The garden is nice to see.

We were given two large brand new rooms for our family of four. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and the view over the water was fantastic. It was easy to arrive to the hotel using the free shuttle bus from the Abu Simbel airport (we got dropped off at the hotel's doorstep), and returning by the hotel's arranged tuktuk was equally straightforward. The hotel is within easy walking distance of good restaurants and they also have a restaurant onsite. The young man who seemed to be in charge of everything was wonderful.
