The lodging was clean and comfortable and the family who owns and operates the property is spectacular. Very friendly and helpful and they have a great restaurant on the property. Literally the best meal I had in Equador. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Friends, family, or otherwise.

Hacienda Guamag is set in a calm and beautiful place that has no road access and can be reached by tarabita. by crossing the gorge with a beautiful view over the waterfall you leave hassle behind and enter beautiful place run by a super host Marcelo and his family. We traveled with two kids and they loved everything about the place - tarabita ride, trout pond to fish own dinner, swing under the tree. The room was also very nice with two big comfortable beds. excellent stay! highly recommended.
