Starlight Mountain Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Sigchos, where guests can make the most of its water sports facilities and fitness centre. There are hot water for shower (you just need to know that you should open it for a bit, and not all the way). Also there is a service of transporting your big muchilas to the end of the trail, and a lunch bag to go. Above all the hospitality was so lovely, we got help with everything we needed (including a ride to the atm!). Would definitely recommend!

Adrien provided an abundance of information about the local culture and volcanos, and organized a day trip to Cotopaxi with a local guide. The lodge is also a fully functioning farm with pigs, llamas, goats, chickens, horses, and most endearing to us, dogs. Anouk was always waiting for us in the doorway to throw the latest piece of wood she had found. The bed we slept in was very comfortable with a heated blanket and an additional heater in the room. There was a firepit in our room that we regrettably didn't end up using, but it's there for those who enjoy fireside relaxation. Adrien prepared breakfast and dinner each day for us, all of which were filling and delicious.

A daily breakfast with cereals and fruits is included and there is an on-site restaurant with regional cuisine. Very nice view on the Cotopaxi, comfortable cabin, beautifully decorated. Nicest of all: a wood fire in the cabin! Refined diner.
