Bouda Krakonos was very cozy after the reconstruction, we liked that everything was wooden - that gives it a nice close-to-nature style. The staff were just AMAZING. Immediately after we arrived, we were given the key to our room and instructions and everyone was so nice and welcoming - we felt like visiting a family. There were two waiters, both looking after us nicely, the lady-cook who was coming out of the kitchen often (when free of course) chatting with guests and the rest of the staff was also amazing. We had a lot of laugh with everyone. You could tell the entire staff are like family, the atmosphere was just exceptionally warm and friendly (yet respectful). The food was simply delicious. We had the soup “kyselo” and the “potato pancakes” and both were like heaven in mouth. We also had a dog with us and everyone loved her, too.

This place is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we knew we had hit the jackpot. The house is brand new, super clean, and way more spacious than we expected. The location is perfect—really close to the ski slopes and just a short drive to shops and restaurants. And let me just say—skiing in the Czech Republic is seriously underrated! Great slopes, no crazy crowds, and super affordable compared to other places in Europe. But what really makes this place stand out is something you can’t see in the photos: the vibe. It just feels so welcoming and warm, like a place where you instantly feel at home. Whether you're curled up on the couch with a cup of tea, playing games at the big dining table, or just unwinding after a day in the mountains, there's this amazing, cozy atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere. And if you’re coming with kids—this place is a dream! There are toys, building blocks, board games… even the little ones will never be bored. The best part? This place is available to rent all year round! Whether it’s a winter ski trip, a summer hiking adventure, or just a peaceful weekend escape, it’s the perfect spot. It was absolutely lovely. The location was amazing especially because of the mesmerizing view to the river. If you’re considering booking this property during your ski holiday you definetly won’t regret it. It was also ver very clean and the cabin was equipped very well. Staff at reception made the check in and out very easy. 10/10
