The staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. The grounds are a tropical paradise full of birds, butterflies & other wildlife. The rooms are clean & comfortable surrounded by the beautiful gardens.

The entire property was magnificent, lush vgetation, expertly landscaped. The vegetation also gives each unit privacy. The hosts are delightful, plaeasant, informative and always eager to answer questions and make suggestions to enhance your vacation. The dwellings and property are spotless. Because the property is in the jungle, the sounds of nature are all around. It is easy to get to the national park in Cauhita. We rented bikes as our mode of transportation but the property is best enjoyed with a vehicle. The pool is magnificent, large and surrounded by natural vegetation.

This was a little vacation to celebrate life and man, we hit jackpot!! Gianluca was a great host with super clear directions, and he helped us map potential places to visit and go eat. I forgot to take pictures, but the lodge was absolutely gorgeous, and our room had all that you needed for visiting Cahuita. Offering a year-round outdoor pool and tropical garden, La Rana De Cahuita is set 5 km away from the centre of Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 18 km from the property. Werner was extremely nice and very accommodating. Even brought us candles when the power went out. He also decorated the porch for my birthday, which was a nice surprise!

Great location , loats of wildlife just in premises, very close to everithing , walking distance to the beach. Good vakue for money.

Situated in Cahuita in the Limon region and Negra reachable within 200 metres, Casa Marcellino Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. Very nice bungalow with full Equipment kitchen and big bathroom. Silent place and a nice garden where you can see different kinds of animal in the morning when you have breakfast on the terrace. The owner life there and when you need anything the help you with all. It Was one of the best place in CR where we stay. Chauita is a traditionell place and ypu have nice Restaurants next to the bungalow orjust 15min the walk to the Center. Puerto Viejo is much expensive and to bussy with a lot of people. Good for visit for one day.
