I could not stop taking picutres of the place. The garden is also exceptionally beautiful, with several heliconias, bamboo, a small bridge,... agutis running around, poison dart frogs, many iguanas, birds, there even was a sloth in a tree. Nice pool. very close to playa negra. safe private car park. Friendly owner.

Alberto was a perfect host, and Playa Grande was the most pleasant and comfortable place we stayed during our travels through the country. It felt like a home away from home. We slept so well, the breakfast was always wonderful, and Alberto was so helpful in providing us with tips and information on where to go and what to do. The entire property was beautiful, and our room was so peaceful and pretty. If I ever go back to Costa Rica, I plan to stay here again.

Free WiFi and free private parking is available on site. the garden is wonderful. there are trees, plants and birds. the bungalow is very cute, functional and well equipped. the beds are very good quality. we loved our terrace with the armchairs and the hammock. the swimming pool is very pleasant and everything is very clean. this is the best place to stay in cahuita. you will hear the animals of the forest and you will be able to rest.
