In the middle of the jungle, surrounded by monkeys and a few steps away from the beach, a beautiful big cabin with everything we needed. Carlos the manager was great and even called us when a sloth came near the reception, the beach was fantastic, many restaurants nearby. It was a dream.

We loved the place due to its big surrounding garden, which is stunning and beautifully taken care of, and the team there which is super welcoming. The delicious breakfast was a new experience every day. You can spot wild animals (birds, frogs, spiders ...) on the premises and can hear the howler monkeys and many other sounds at night. I loved the power outlet on the patio. We would definetely come back!

This lodge was classy, had beautiful bungalows and the lovely lounge area in the middle was very well laid out…..there was ample seating, a refreshing pool and a good breakfast selection as well as drinks & tapas from 3-7pm. and all in a jungle setting. Bryan is a super host too!!!!

The whole village is beautifully designed with a clever inside/outside design to make you really aware you are staying in the heart of the jungle, side by side with nature. It’s fabulous and wildlife is everywhere! Lots of lovely artistic touches around the house make it feel very special and the house has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Masai was on hand at all times to help with any requests we had and the fact that laundry was thrown in free was a massive bonus. All in all we had a really special time at Congo Bongo which we will remember forever.

The house is located in a beautiful garden, basically your own private nature reserve with sloths, birds, frogs, aguri and more.

It is well maintained, also you can see multiple species of birds, heard howler monkeys around. The pool area is also great when it’s not raining 😀 It has a parking space. Overall, a perfect place, I would rebook.

They bring your breakfast (4 different choices) on your terrace each morning, freshly made. The lodge is perfectly located, just 1 minute away from the gorgeous Playa Grande. Thanks again for everything, it was really great!

Free WiFi and free private parking is available on site. This place - one word: AMAZING! Right in the jungle, many monkeys around, is just spectacular! The garden is simply amazing and the owners very friendly and responsive! The swimming pool was perfect after a long day exploring the area. You probably need a car, so 5min drive to restaurants and supermarket and 10min to Cahuita National Park. I’ll get back 100%, my kids were in love!

Boasting a garden, Los Delfines Lodge is set in Puerto Viejo in the Limon region, 1.2 km from Cocles Beach and 1.8 km from Jaguar Rescue Center. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. The lodge was so beautiful - the indoor outdoor living, the care taken to the garden, the space in general. Away from the chaos of puerto viejo but and easy drive into town if needed. Great recommendations from the hosts who were the loveliest couple that provided us with information about the area, fresh fruit, and a sense of immediate comfort. Waking up and seeing animals everyday was an added bonus!
