Carlos the manager was great and even called us when a sloth came near the reception, the beach was fantastic, many restaurants nearby. It was a dream.

Masai was on hand at all times to help with any requests we had and the fact that laundry was thrown in free was a massive bonus. All in all we had a really special time at Congo Bongo which we will remember forever.

The staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. The grounds are a tropical paradise full of birds, butterflies & other wildlife. The rooms are clean & comfortable surrounded by the beautiful gardens.

The garden is simply amazing and the owners very friendly and responsive! The swimming pool was perfect after a long day exploring the area. You probably need a car, so 5min drive to restaurants and supermarket and 10min to Cahuita National Park. I’ll get back 100%, my kids were in love!
