The lodge was recently built, is well maintained and extremely confortable. Everything was as clean as it can be. The owners are really nice and available to help with our needs.

The closest beach is nearly empty most days. The village is a real tico experience - beats any of the tourist traps around.

A bit of a mission to get there but 100% worth it, the staff were amazing and super friendly it is slightly rustic but the view off your deck is fantastic! The waves are fun for surfing also.

Guacamaya Lodge is so perfect in itself, and yet, with its location a few hundred yards from a breathtaking, expansive beach, your greatest dilemma will be whether to lounge poolside sipping mojitos, or get some exercise and head to the playa.
