There are also 11 km of walking trails throughout the property, or guests can just relax in the hot tub or have a massage in the spa. The location was absolutely stunning with amazing views of the Arenal volcano and lake. We loved the various hiking trails, one even led to a water fall where you could swim, so bring your swim suits! We saw so much wild-life nearby on our walks including coyotes, toucans and monkeys. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We loved every meal and found the staff to be super friendly and helpful, wish we could have stayed longer!

There are SO many great sodas and places to eat at in town, we didn't necessarily want to pay for included breakfast. The kitchenette was perfect, and we could re-heat leftovers etc, but it really felt more like staying at our own place. We hardly saw another person (staff or guests, but we know they were there!) the whole time, and it was so peaceful. Staff was very responsive to questions via Whatsapp, and the instructions for getting in and out of the gate/ parking area/ keys etc were very clear.

The bungalows and cottages offer rustic décor, a desk, fan, wardrobe, wooden floors and a fridge. The bathrooms are private and come with bath, shower, hairdryer and toiletries. All accommodations feature garden and volcano views. Great eco lodge. It was fun to see the staff feeding the birds with fruit right when breakfast was served at 7am. The dining room is wide open and you really feel the rain forest. They have a little trail you can go on. Everything was great. Very quiet location.
