Beautiful chalet, secluded enough to see monkeys and beautiful birds but close enough to town and to Parque Volcan Tenorio to make it convenient. Hosts were very kind and clearly willing to work on any single detail to make the stay enjoyable (a bottle of rose as a gift upon arrival, games for kids, a full well equipped kitchen... nothing was missing). I highly recommend the place.

There are SO many great sodas and places to eat at in town, we didn't necessarily want to pay for included breakfast. The kitchenette was perfect, and we could re-heat leftovers etc, but it really felt more like staying at our own place. We hardly saw another person (staff or guests, but we know they were there!) the whole time, and it was so peaceful. Staff was very responsive to questions via Whatsapp, and the instructions for getting in and out of the gate/ parking area/ keys etc were very clear.

The owners were so nice and gave us useful recommendation that only locals know about trips in this area. We really liked the sustainability of this property and that you stay so close to nature there. They really take care of the plants and the animals and also the night walk was fascinating. This property was our favourite stay at our costa rica trip and if we come again we would definitly stay there again.
