Fantastic stay! We absolutely loved our time at Maria Hau Cabanas, the room was perfect and in such an amazing location, right by the sea and close to town. Maria’s son greeted us at the airport and made sure we were looked after our whole trip, thank you for such an amazing time. Cannot recommend enough!

Jerome, the owner is really amazing and makes feel all his guests special. We travel a lot and are quite a picky travellers. Kona Koa combines hospitality of family hotel with big hotels stadards. True, there is no aircondition, but I was happy as we always have fight if to switch it on or not :). You are treated as relatives comming to visit your remote family. I loved the experience. Maria and Alvaro are very kind and openminded, loving people. Maria cooked a few times for me and the food was delicious. I took tours with Alvaro and enjoyed every minute of it. He is very knowledgeable and patient and thus makes sure you will get the most of your stay in Rapa Nui. The view from my room was great! It's literally like being at home but on a very far away island. I can definitely recommend 100%.
