To be honest, our stay was absolutely amazing. Not only for the island being so incredible but also to our apartment and Paulina was the absolute best host you could wish for. She helped us with organizing the whole stay and even picked us up from the airport. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Fantastic stay! We absolutely loved our time at Maria Hau Cabanas, the room was perfect and in such an amazing location, right by the sea and close to town. Maria’s son greeted us at the airport and made sure we were looked after our whole trip, thank you for such an amazing time. Cannot recommend enough!

From the moment we arrived at Kona Koa Lodge, we knew our stay was going to be something special. The room itself was a highlight. Spacious and immaculately clean, it offered a tranquil retreat after days spent exploring the island. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the overall quietness of the location meant that every morning we woke up refreshed and ready to tackle the day's adventures. I loved the experience. Maria and Alvaro are very kind and openminded, loving people. Maria cooked a few times for me and the food was delicious. I took tours with Alvaro and enjoyed every minute of it. He is very knowledgeable and patient and thus makes sure you will get the most of your stay in Rapa Nui. The view from my room was great! It's literally like being at home but on a very far away island. I can definitely recommend 100%.

The location was excellent - less than 5mins walk to the main town road where the shops are, and another 5mins or so from there downhill towards the restaurants along the coast. Catalina, one of the staff, was also super helpful and friendly. Great to be able to purchase drinking water from them as well. The bungalow had everything we needed. The hibiscus hedge and in the garden was stunning! Thoroughly enjoyed it and would stay there again

Fantastic helpful staff providing excellent stay as well as great extra services, like hassle-free car rental at lower price than in town (and good car) and guided island tours. The location is ideal if you do rent a car, but it is also walkable, 3 minutes from the coast and some Moai statues and some 30-40 minutes from the center of town.
