It is a purpose built, very well thought through, small B&B set in the most beautiful and relaxing of locations. And Pamela and Javier are the perfect hosts to make it live up to its full potential!! Lake Lodge is about an 8 minute drive from Pucón, and also just a short drive down the same road takes you to Villarrica Volcano. I had a rental car, so this was plenty easy but I understand that ride service options are also available. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful; the recommendations for local food and activities were perfect, and you couldn’t ask for better hosts. (Javier was even kind enough to let me borrow his guitar during my stay to help me keep in practice)! It was actually very sad to leave.
