I loved everything about being here, from the location to the staff to the room itself. I found it very hard to leave! I had everything I needed and was comfortable, warm and within walking distance to just about everything. The staff were fantastic, helping when I needed to check in and let me sit with a hot chocolate while I waited for a train after I checked out. I would recommend to anyone thinking about coming to Engelberg or anyone who just wants a quiet weekend in the mountains.

The hotel is very nice, with new and clean facilities, rooms with mountain views, and a great restaurant. We hiked in the mountains, enjoying the sun during the day and the storm at night. The hut was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and a quiet place, complete with kitchen equipment and cleaning equipment. The owner of the hut was very kind and cooperative. She was interested in the smallest details, even though she was not in Switzerland. She was constantly communicating with me to make sure that everything was fine.
