I arrived 3 hours before check-in to leave my luggage, but I was told that I could already check in because the room was ready, which made me very happy, a big plus. The rooms, bed linens, bathroom, and toilets are very clean. Each bed has a light and a socket. The hostel is modern and very comfortable, with all the amenities you need. Also, the view from the window was great !

The hotel is very nice, with new and clean facilities, rooms with mountain views, and a great restaurant. We hiked in the mountains, enjoying the sun during the day and the storm at night. Very good experience. We had a late check in and it was no problem. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was traditional and delicious. The staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend!

The authenticity of this chalet was amazing. It’s was warm and cosy and had amazing views; I was lucky enough to watch the sunrise above the mountains and it was magical! I didn’t bring the correct plug adaptor or phone charger but the hosts were so accommodating they were able to provide both. One night wasn’t long enough.

Consisting of 3 separate chalets, the CityChalet is located next to the Aare River, 300 metres from the centre of Interlaken.
