The accommodation was super clean, new and the windows showed amazing views of the lake. It is quite a walk to get there, but it is 100% worth it, especially given that they provide luggage pick up (at a fair price) by a llama. The hosts were super welcoming providing information about surrounding hikes and great meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at a fair price.

It was such a treat waking up for sunrise and seeing it from bed. Having breakfast brought to our room was such a nice touch too. The lady running the place was lovely and had good reccomendations for a spot to watch the sunset.

We got both breakfast and dinner in our room which was also very delicious. We do not understand the negative comments about the location. It is easy to reach from the closest harbour and every accomodation on the island involves some walking. You don’t get these views from being directly on the harbour

The outdoor area was a very nice area to sit and relax. We were greeted by a lovely lady and her daughter and they brought up coffee when we arrived which was very kind. The breakfast was great as well. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great sleep. I also caught the most beautiful sunrise, that alone made it incredibly worth it!

In the morning also we got a great breakfast. He treated us as kings. The view was also fantastic. Please ask Oscar to organize the mulls for your coffins. It is quite a walk to all the hotels. Utasawa is quit near compared to other hotels.

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. They pointed out a great place to eat in the evening and supported us to plan the next walking route. It is worth pulling the curtains early to see the sunrise! Wow! The shower was warm and there is a small heater in the room and some blankets (it is very cold at night) Breakfast is good and even better sitting eating it with that spectacular view. There is a small shop run by the owners for woolen souvenirs, drinks and snacks.
