I was happy the accommodation provided breakfast necessities, which doesn't happen at other accommodation spots. The lake view was amazing especially in the morning with the fog sitting on top. Also would be an incredible spot for winter with the electric fire place. Wasn't expecting the Chalet to be so spacious.

The nearest airport is Albany Regional Airport, 126 km from Tinglewood Cabins. I really love the remote and very quiet location on a clearing in the midst of the forest where one could watch the wildlife (Kangaroos, quokkas...if you're lucky)! The friendly owners Chris and Sharon were very helpful in every way and gave me some very interesting insights into the local flora and fauna. - They even gave me, the in this matter somewhat ignorant big-city guy, perfect and very helpful instruction on how to properly light up the wood-fired chimney. - At night I recommend you enjoy one of a hell of great night-sky, unspoiled from any light-pollution!! - If I ever again be in the area I will definitely be back!!
