Saltbush was a wonderful place to stay. The slab hut I stayed in had a lot of character and unique and was very comfortable. Location to town very convenient although guests I met or staff often offered a lift to/from town. Longreach has been a bucket list visit for some time and certainly did not disappoint.

The scenery is great and there is lots of chances to spot cool animals, including some Kangaroos who were in front of our tent :) We had the place all to ourselves which was unbelievable and felt really special to be in such a gorgeous spot all alone. Would definitely recommend this and if you are not a camping type of person don’t worry, it is luxerious beds with all facilities in place :)

We loved our stay here in October 2024! It was the perfect balance of comfort and being off grid. The owner was very friendly and had thought of everything you might need for a self catering stay. We particularly loved the patio with our own BBQ and chill out zone. Owner also very helpful if you need recommendations for local attractions.

Located in Arcadia in the Magnetic Island region, with Geoffrey Bay Beach and Alma Bay Beach nearby, Dandaloo Gardens provides accommodation with free private parking. Beautiful and clean and modern design inside. Short walk to everything and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Differently stay there again.
