The self contained accommodation offers free transfers from airport, train and bus stations on request. Saltbush was a wonderful place to stay. The slab hut I stayed in had a lot of character and unique and was very comfortable. Location to town very convenient although guests I met or staff often offered a lift to/from town. Longreach has been a bucket list visit for some time and certainly did not disappoint.

There were plenty of birds to see and we also spotted wallaroos. The sunset is beautiful over the water and the starry night skies were stunning.

Greta location, clean and well equipped. great for family with kids or group of friends. everything looks exactly like on the pictures.

This is a gem in the most convenient location in Cape Tribulation (a mere 3 minute drive to where the meeting spot for the Great Barrier Reef snorkeling tour was). The apartment couldn’t have been cleaner, it was spacious, it was stocked with all you need to stay in and cook or just have a coffee or two before heading out for the day. The woman who runs this place is lovely, and takes such pride in the business she runs. I would recommend this place to any person coming to Cape Tribulation!
