When you have breakfast, kangaroos are hopping everywhere around your window (if you prefer to eat indoors). There are koalas in the trees a bit further and at dawn the wallabies come out. The owners make sure you have everything and even let us hand feed the kangaroos. I really enjoyed the silence of nature at night, this was my best sleep on my Australian travels (amazing blanket and pillow as well).
