Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the fireplace on colder days. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Breakfast was self-catered, and the kitchen was well equipped for preparing our own meals. The location was quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature, and conveniently located for visiting the Twelve Apostles.

I booked it super last minute (the day before literally) and it was the only place available for the long weekend. We’re visiting from Toronto for work but didn’t realize it was a holiday here! Nonetheless, we thought the rate was a bit extreme but since it was the only available place we did it without doing any research. Boy are we SO GLAD it worked out that way. Our stay was probably the highlight of our 3 weeks stay in Australia. This lodge has ocean views, kangaroos AND koalas! the sunrise with kangaroos was STUNNING. We found it busier with the kangaroos during sunset most. The place is huge, so well done. Everything honestly…. Was jaw dropping. We LOVED it. And though it was a random fluke that we booked this place, it was the best fluke of our whole trip to Australia!!
