Set amongst 8 acres of tree-lined lawns and gardens, guests at these self-contained cottages have access to a tennis court and heated indoor swimming pool. Blackheath town centre is a 5-minute drive away. This place truly is a hidden gem. We didn't make it in time for reception hours, but when I called the staff member was very warm, friendly and accommodating. She explained the check in process in detail (which was very easy). The accommodation is so homely. They leave a complimentary packet of marshmallows to use in the communal fire pit, there are free laundry services, a heated indoor pool, a games room and beautifully manicured gardens and open grassed areas. Native wildlife was abundant and it's hidden in a quiet location that is super easy to find. Definitely worth the stay and I wish we could have stayed longer.

The cottage was fully stocked with every piece of cooking equipment we needed. I could tell that Kirsty had thought about everything to make her guest's stay comfortable and pleasant. This amazing property offered us everything we needed for a family get-away. Absolutely as described. Wonderful location for hiking, cafes and relaxing. Fully functional kitchen and bbq area for a group, amazing beds, great comfy furniture, exquisite gardens including fountain, outdoor hot-tub, lovely artwork throughout…….. so clean. Superb communication from owners as well. Easy to park……. And a small thing - but amazing- was the collection of comfy scuffs in every size for us to wear in the house.
