The location of MONDI in Grundlsee is very convenient - we took a day trip to Hallstatt which was just 30 minutes drive, and another day we drove the panoramic route to Loser Altaussee. The MONDI resort staff were very welcoming and friendly - my husband and I are American and English speaking and the staff was always quick to accommodate with a smile. We enjoyed the spa / wellness area each day during our stay - while the steam bath was out of service, we still were able to use the 3 other saunas and the pool. The food was exceptional as well - from breakfast to dinner, we left satisfied and pleased with each meal. They offer a seasonal venison menu and we loved trying new things we don't normally get to eat! The chalets themselves are so charming - our studio had a mini kitchen, supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware, and a good size refrigerator. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, too! Can't say enough great things about our stay.

Due to an unexpected emergency we made a very last second reservation. Lisa took amazing care of us. The apartment was warm, cozy, and very comfortable. The kitchenette was very well stocked and even had coffee beans in the machine, orange juice in the fridge, and some farm fresh eggs. Lisa went above and beyond helping us get our emergency fixed while making sure our stay was top notch. Great place to stay.

Only reachable by cable car, Lodge am Krippenstein is located on the Krippenstein Mountain, at 2,063 metres above sea level and just a 2-minute walk from the mountain station of the Dachstein-Krippenstein Cable Car. It offers a large sun terrace, an infrared cabin, and ski-to-door access. Free WiFi is available. Absolutely amazing place, window view in the room was astonishing, and you can enjoy the whole mountain view by yourself before and after the business hour of the cable car. The host and staff were also kind, breakfast was delicious.

In summer AlpenParks Hagan Lodge Altaussee is surrounded by flower meadows and mountain pastures, while in winter you can ski right to your lodge’s doorstep. The Loser ski lifts are only a few steps away, and the cross-country ski runs are also in the immediate vicinity. The location is absolutely amazing. We wanted to take short hikes with our dog which was no problem here. Altausee is very close and is a marvelous lake to hike around and swim or paddle across. Would like to visit again maybe in the winter as well.
