Absolutely loved this magical place. Nice and quiet getaway, falling asleep with only the sound of the river. So much attention for details by the sweetest couple who run the place. Amazing view. Nice walk at the property along. the town close by felt very safe. We used this spot to travel to Drakensberg park, so after a day of hiking this was the perfect place to relax. One of our favorite spots in South Africa!

Very comfortable and safe. We were visiting family at the Ambers, and this was the perfect location, which was well equipped and had a number of animals roaming the grounds. It had a mini kitchen in the family rooms, with a fridge, microwave and utensils, comfortable beds, and spacious bathrooms. We didn't have breakfast or dinner there but Piggly Wiggly is just across the road.

This lodge is situated in such a beautiful spot and the cabins are cozy and perfect for time away to relax. The food is HALAAL , the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is excellent. There's horses , camels and ponies , and they have a pool , trampoline and a lake (fresh water fishing also). Overall we loved our experience and would definitely recommend to everyone.
