Absolutely loved this magical place. Nice and quiet getaway, falling asleep with only the sound of the river. So much attention for details by the sweetest couple who run the place. Amazing view. Nice walk at the property along. the town close by felt very safe. We used this spot to travel to Drakensberg park, so after a day of hiking this was the perfect place to relax. One of our favorite spots in South Africa!

Lorraine and Koos made us feel incredibly welcome at the very pretty Notting Hill Lodge. Conveniently located on the Midlands Meander route, we easily accessed all the goodies available on the route, always returning to our comfortable rooms every afternoon. Winnie was so welcoming and the staff so friendly and super efficiant. The 4 bed house was well equiped for a large family. The establishment is set on a stud farm - so quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. set about 22 kms from Nottingham Road.
