The lodge is very peaceful, surrounded by nature. A perfect getaway spot not far from Johannesburg. The chalets are fantastic and spacious with all necessary equipment. We had very warm bedding and heaters for winter, plus a fire outside during dinner. Hastings, the lodge manager was absolutely delightful and so accommodating! He made our stay a very special one! Levy, the chef served beautifully plated breakfasts and dinners with very generous portions. We hiked around the lodge with free roaming animals (blessbok, monkeys, various birds). A truly wonderful experience! We would return in a heartbeat.

Clean, spacious room with privacy and adequate facilities. What you see in the pics is what you get. The host, Gabriel, was much, much more than excellent!! We enjoyed his company and hospitality more than the place itself which is already excellent. He communicated well and attended to us as his guests. The hike is short but challenging.

The location is great , but It was very cold and raining during our stay, but of course they couldn't do anything about it but they provided thick blankets in the closet and an electric blanket to stay warm. There is also a rechargeable lamp for when you have to go outside, ideal because it is pitch dark in the evenings since it's in the bushes. Owner is on site and reachable at all times and very helpful, he even recommended some great places to visit.
