Very good value for money! Breakfast was very nice.

The breakfast was generous with a variety of proteins provided. The breakfast is also served in your room at a time convenient to you . The Location is centrally located with the Woodmead Center, N3 , M1 and N1 easily and quickly accessible. Jay and Rose are nice and accommodating .

As partner of a consulting company specializing in food safety, work safety, training and mystery client audits, with a degree in hotel management, I´m one of the most observing clients a hotel may have. I booked because of location and reviews. During a 2 week stay in August I got what I needed: security, comfort, hygiene, nice breakfast, constant electricity. My self-catering room was spacious, with varanda, heated floors, kitchenette, electricity to charge phones during “load shedding” (daily power cuts), a good sized fridge, microwave, oven, toaster, kettle. VALUABLE DETAILS: a flash light in the bedside table; umbrella; dish-washing liquid and sponge in the kitchenette; electricity sockets (compatible with European phone and pc chargers) by the desk; panic button by the bed; good wardrobe. The Hadidas are fascinating and you can see many lovely birds in the garden. Breakfast is by the pool. Expect a typical SA breakfast with a surprisingly good variety of a la carte eggs. Was pleasantly surprised with touches such as hot oats and expresso coffee for the more demanding European. This isn´t Europe, so don’t expect the same variety of pastries, cheese, yogurts, seeds and individually pressed orange juice. Instead, enjoy a la carte eggs, mushroom, tomato, bacon and other local treats in an informal setting. Staff were very accommodating and even served clients who arrived at closing time, which is most unusual in Europe. On a few occasions I wanted to eat ripe pawpaw and Bokomo I bought at Woolworths, so I fetched coffee-bread-butter-jam from the restaurant and fixed myself a lazy breakfast and enjoyed it on my veranda. Staff were the overall wow factor! Everyone VERY friendly and accommodating, and a solo traveller will feel safe and cared for. A VERY important factor for me was the free lifts into town, because it’s well-known that Ubers can be dangerous for single women. The ladies in reception are fantastic and check-out felt like a farewell between friends.

Very peaceful, could hear the birds around us. Ty was very pleasant, helped us carry our bags in and was ready and waiting when we left. The unit was well equipped with plenty of cupboard space. The little chocolate on the pillow and the coffee machine were nice extra touches. Lots of safe parking inside the property.

Friendly hosts on short notice all was ready, lovely self catering unit. Beautiful gardens and area is very tranquil and quiet, does not feel like JHB at all!

The place was very neat and clean 👌 with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The garden was outstanding. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of clean, fresh air.

I did not have breakfast since I left very early, otherwise my stay was a good one.
