This venue is truly exquisite and the grounds are in immaculate condition. It also doubles as a wedding venue. There is even a beautiful pond with swans ! We booked several rooms for our family many months ago and with there being so many of us, dates changed and were added and some changed again. Through this all the team were so gracious and responded to all my requests and questions immediately. Not once being irritated with my changes but always being so understanding and accomodating our every need. The rooms are beautiful with attention to even the smallest little detail. We were so impressed ! My husband keeps telling everyone just how impressed he is :) We also had breakfast served in our room and it was absolutley fantastic. We ordered on both mornings that we were there. Kudos to everyone here at Gracias de Dios - you have created a beautiful gem.

We had a fantastic time at Lakefield Lodge. The lodge was impressively clean, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff, particularly one friendly lady, was responsive to our queries and super friendly. Fresh beautifully clean rooms, beautiful gardens, comfy bed, mammoth breakfasts made just for me, friendly hounds running up for a cuddle. Nothing was too much trouble. I was visiting to say a sad final goodbye to a relative and owners kindly shuttled me back and forth to the retirement village. Owners and their gorgeous staff are all fantastic.
