We booked the cabin just couple of days prior to arrival to Alaska and had little expectations (all other places were fully booked and quite expensive). So, we were pleasantly surprised by the comfort the lodge has provided. I mean, we had all we needed - good beds, clean house, TV, WiFi, small kitchen and clean bathroom. The owner was very attentive and gave advices on some local activities. Me and my family spent wonderful couple of days in Seward and Spruce Goose lodge added to it greatly.

The room was extremely clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the full sized stove and refrigerator were very useful. The check in process was also very convenient.

Great welcome, host was super nice. The houses are completely made of wood and there is a smell of wood inside. Very cozy and well equipped. Big comfortable bed. located in a quiet location, although close to infrastructure.

Although we arrived late, the owner’s instructions we have received in advance were enough for a straightforward self-checkin. The property is very close to the harbor, which is the departure point for the cruises.
