My partner and I enjoyed the beautiful accommodation offered at Safaya for our honeymoon. We had a room with our own private pool overlooking the beach. Incredible views, service and plenty of games provided in the rooms to keep us busy. Had the most amazing time.

The host is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The shower pressure was good. They changed our mattress during our stay which was going to be my only criticism. The pool was a welcome retreat after a hot day exploring. Breakfast was generous.

we stayed in this hotel for 10 days, we came in the middle of the night and we got our room without any problems, we didnt need to wait for check in, everything was great, room was really clean and housekeeping was every day. Hotel is almost on the beach, it takes maybe max 30 sec. for walk there. Great location of hotel. Katja and her employees are really nice and helpful with everything - she can help you with taxi for airport and also with trips. Breakfast was really good, you could choose what you wanna eat from menu. We were really satisfied. Thank you

It’s very good location in centre of Nungwi, it’s completely new place with swimming pool (inside in room AC and everything what you need ) just 5 min from the best beach. Very good breakfast and staff, good garden with palm trees, high recommended

Our stay at Darwesh Nyumba Lodge was truly unforgettable! The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and fun to talk to—we had great conversations with them throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. One of the highlights was the fresh, homemade dinner they prepared for us (optional but absolutely worth it). It was hands down the best meal we had during our trip—authentic local flavors, beautifully cooked, and far better than any restaurant we tried. You can really taste the love and tradition in their food! The accommodation itself was very stylish, clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location— 5 mins walking to the beach. The warm hospitality, the amazing food, and the great atmosphere make this place truly special. If you’re looking for an authentic and welcoming experience, this is the place to be!

I really like the staff, all staff who works there really add the value to the place, from maid, gatekeeper, to the manager and owner. Lisa (manager) was great, she was really trying to make your stay as pleasant as it can be. I will never forget the place, its so rural, natural, i could really feel the africa.. there were many evenings we just hung and talk in the resort, accompanied with the most kind dog and two cute cats. The soap in the bathroom was also out of this world, natural and smell so good.

The place is well kept with beautiful plants around the premises. It is also a quiet and relaxing place. The rooms are very spacious with two beds and amazing decor. Its also not so far to the beach, like a 5 minute drive. Totally worth it for the price.

I totaly felt in love with that place. AMAZING for solo travelers, memories-collectors, open minded and young spirit people. That place offers everything what you need like a backpacker - good facilities, free laundery, amazing staff and the cheap and affordable price. We also went for a dolphin tour for really good price (people on our boat paid 2 times more. If I return to Zanzibar on day, it will be because of that place. Thank you!
