We arrived late afternoon and got a very warm welcome from the team with a nice hot towel to clean hands and face and a refreshing juice. The chexk-in procedure and briefing was clear and short and we loved the lvely atmosphere of the place right from the start. Beautiful nature and a lot of timber which made the place feel very natural.

Located on a 15-acre operational farm, Tanzanice Farm Lodge offers accommodation within 4 km of the town of Karatu. The Lodoare Gate into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is 12 km from the property.

Amazing staff who helped us SO MUCH to plan the visit and game drives. Everything was excellent! I can not reccomend more if you want to visit park around NgoroNgoro. Also, the food was delicious.

Location was extremely good and the entrance very pleasing and satisfying. Staff were very friendly and humble and inviting and always did extremely to please us.

The location of this hotel was perfect—convenient and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The rooms were stunning, offering both comfort and luxury, and the food was absolutely delicious with a great variety. The highlight for me was the swimming pool, which offered breathtaking views that made it the ideal place to relax. I would definitely book here again without hesitation. A truly memorable stay!

Spacious and great location to visit the Crater. Ambience was good. Rooms modestly furnished but functional . And the staff was exceptional both the manager and the ladies employed there.

This place is amazing, the feeling is like You are deep in the mountain. The staff are wonderful, smile and very interesting people. Except swimming pool have fireplace where we seat and speak late at the evening, was wonderful adventure🍀☀️😊 Thank You

Wow, our favorite lodge we stayed at during our 10 day Tanzanian safari roadtrip. We stayed 2 nights and wish we had stayed more. The setting above the Rhotia valley is spectacular. The tents are also really nicely done, and we loved the stylish little touches (eg. the robes!). The pool area was lovely, and the perfect spot to cool down and enjoy the view after a day in the crater. Some reviews complained about the distance to Ngorongo but we didn’t find this to be the case. It was only 30 min to the entrance to the confirmation area, so with a typical early start you could easily be one of the first ones in. The real issue is the drive from the gate to the descending road to the crater, but there is no way around that unless you want to fork out to stay inside the conservation area / along the crater - and we didn’t! The food was also really good, probably the best of the lodges we stayed at (despite not being the most expensive!). Good food made with love - especially the BBQ they did one night, I ate my weight in pork ribs. Lastly - the staff were *so good* :) Friendly and with good senses of humor :)

Inside the national park! Swimming pool area was something special after the safari with a stunning view on the manyara lake! Bar and afternoon exhibition of local people! Jambo! Evening time is really suggestion , they will attend you from the room to the lobby restaurant etc while you can hear the iena in the night. Good food ! Perfect room
