Our glass igloo stay here was excellent! The bed is very comfortable and the hosts gave us a warm welcome! Although the room is a bit small, it has all the essentials tightly packed in different areas of the room. They also helped us book several activities we were interested in, such as Snow mobiling, Aurora hunting night tour with barbecue, and Day trip to the nearby Abisko National Park. The breakfast spread was amazing and the bread, vegetables, cheese and meat served are fresh and delicious! On the 2 nights we stayed here, we were lucky enough to see beautiful 360 degree vies of the aurora from the frozen river just a few meters away. After seeing enough of the northern lights from outside the room, we could also cozy up inside the glass igloo and see the dancing aurora display straight from our bed! The property also is quite close to forests and on one of the stays we saw a few reindeers roaming around the property in the evening. The stay comes with complimentary pick up and drop off from/at Kiruna train station as part of our stay, and a 1-hour session in the sauna, which is quite a bonus.

Amazing place, comfortable and cozy, great design.. With view over a frozen river we could watch dog sleds, snow mobiles and even reindeers passing. Perfect spot to visit Jukkasjärvi and also to watch the northern lights!

Superb, quiet cabin, with a stunning view over a frozen river. Great location to relax and take in the nature. Short 15 mins drive from the airport, easily accessible with a rental car, with the cabin being both remote and actually not too far of a drive from a small supermarket etc. Extremely nice and helpful owners, with Cecilia being super warm and always at the ready to help, living on the same property. Very clean cabin, with a great high bed, incl.a remote-control adjustable matress and a huge panoramic window above the bed, for that perfectly relaxing viewing point for aurora. Highly recommendable !

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Cozy Cabin Styled Loft. Our family of four—my wife, our 8-year-old daughter, our 2-year-old daughter, and I—found the small loft to be comfortable and well-equipped for our needs. It had a double bed and a sofa bed, which worked perfectly for us. Mark and Jenny, the hosts, were helpful. They gave us plenty of privacy while always being available if we needed anything. It’s clear that they put in a lot of effort to make sure guests have a great experience, and we’re happy to give them a well-deserved recommendation! The cabin was warm and cozy, with good Wi-Fi and all the essentials. The kitchenette was well-equipped with a microwave, coffee machine, kettle, plates, cutlery, cups, and mugs—perfect for preparing breakfast or simple meals. Plus, the TV had Google Chromecast, allowing us to connect our Netflix account easily. One of the highlights was being able to see the Northern Lights right from the balcony! The location, just outside Kiruna, is ideal—far enough to reduce light pollution but still close enough to town. While there are a few restaurant options, they are not within walking distance; you’ll need to drive about five minutes, but there are three good choices. There’s also a well-stocked Co-op grocery store open daily, making it easy to grab breakfast items or microwaveable meals. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kiruna!

Superb cabin with a superb view near the frozen lake! Small cabin but it had everything that we needed. You can change the position of the beds with a remote, in order to see better the lake or the aurora, very cool! Very good location in the wilderness! Would definitely recommend to others, really lovely cabin!!!

We stayed in 2 different cabins, 8A and 5A. The 8A has more equipment in the kitcken, an oven, since it is a bigger cabin for more people. It has the bathroom inside the cabin as well and a fireplace. The 5A was smaller, without an oven, a small stove, the toilet is outside (shower inside) BUT there is a sauna in the cabin :D. It is possible to see the northern lights in front of the cabins and a little from inside. The cabins were super clean, smelling so good! Alex (who takes care of everything) is a really nice person! It was a great experience!

Reindeer Lodge features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 23 km of Kiruna Train Station and 20 km of Kiruna Bus Station.

We had a great time at the Aurora Camp. The hut had everything we needed and the private sauna with the instruction video was great. It would have been nice to provide more small firewood to start the fire but we collected it around the camp. The sauna heats up really fast and it's great fun to jump into the cold lake after using it. As expected there were many mosquitoes but the hut has a screen door which was very helpful.
