We can see Aurora right at River Camp when the weather is good. In winter, we can walk to Ice Hotel through the iced river and it's pretty safe. There's free shuttle service from airport to River Camp and the host is really friendly.

The property is easy to find and perfectly located at the lake that leads to Jukkasjärvi. We took a 30 min walk to the ice hotel. The house is like a tiny house but with a very spacious bathroom. All in all it looked really high-grade.

Superb, quiet cabin, with a stunning view over a frozen river. Great location to relax and take in the nature. Short 15 mins drive from the airport, easily accessible with a rental car, with the cabin being both remote and actually not too far of a drive from a small supermarket etc. Extremely nice and helpful owners, with Cecilia being super warm and always at the ready to help, living on the same property. Very clean cabin, with a great high bed, incl.a remote-control adjustable matress and a huge panoramic window above the bed, for that perfectly relaxing viewing point for aurora. Highly recommendable !

My girlfriend and I had the lovely opportunity to spend a night in the north at this magical place after our trek in Abisko. It's exactly beside the river. The front door with the open glas gives so much light to the room. Evan if it was raining when we were there. Felt like a fantasy tale. Jenny & Marc are fantastic hosts. They had some chickens walking around that made it so much more alive. Definitely recommend it and will book it again when we come back again for another Trek.

Excelent place for enjoying Swedish winter and sering the northern lights. The cabins are of excelent quality, in front of a beautiful lake with low light intensity, so it's perfect for seeing the northern lights. You can actually see them from the cabin! Beds are super comfortable, kitchen is fully equiped, tv works fine (we brought a HDMI cable that helped us watch stuff) and the toilet works just fine. The hosts Liezel and Alex are super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Strongly recommend this place!

We stayed in classic Sami tent. It surely was the most amaizing experience in your lives! We were scared in the beginning - at was -25’c outside, but nice and cozy inside. All stuff was very friendly and helpfull. lovely

Surrounded by forest, Aurora Camp Kurravaara is right by the Torne River, 13 km from Kiruna Airport. Facilities include a sauna and a furnished terrace.

We had the panorama room which had a beautiful view over the lake. The property is very well maintained - clean rooms, clean shared bathrooms and clear lit paths in the evening. The property matches the description really well. It was a bit larger than expected actually and super comfortable beds, duvets, sheets, plenty of soft pillows. Ultra clean. BUT… the really huge quality of this place is its uniqueness! Located in a very quite, secluded place at the very end of a winding road towards a stunning lake, the mini-lodge opens up as a one-of-a-kind oasis of calmness and beauty. You can really see the lake from your seat or bed and - whether permitting - see the Northern light in its fullest glory as ever moving curtains of light above the lake against the background of mountains. The only sounds are the wind whispering through the trees, the water ebbing and flooding softly against the shore and some occasional fish grasping your attention as are plenty of water birds. I found the sauna also a big bonus, again because of its location, cleanliness and authenticity: wooden fire flickering - no electrical stove :-)

The cabin is a cozy beautiful house in the nature, just over the lake. The location is very convenient, not far from Kiruna but already out of the view of the city and the mine. Fredrik is a great guest! Very glad to had the chance to meet him!
