Host was exceptional, host was generous with her time and provided us with things to do/see in area, host allowed us to store our motorcycle in her private garage, had use of hosts washing machine, close to grocery stores, other shops, coffee shops, wine cellars/lodges & many restaurants. Cabin had everything we need to enjoy cooking some of our own meals, walking distance to Porto and Aforada fishing village.

Very secluded and private. I loved the big windows looking into the garden, and I loved the fact how convenient and close it was to Porto. Was our first time visiting Porto and we were very glad that we didn’t stay in the city, especially as we already live in a big city, was so nice to get away and be in nature and so close to the city and supermarkets.

The first thing I want to say right away is that our visit here was a bull's eye. This hotel is simply excellent, I have no words. My boyfriend and I travel very often and it is very rare for us to encounter such high quality service. An amazing place. A closed area with its own garden where different fruits grow, a vegetable garden where vegetables are grown, which are used to prepare breakfast. There is even a mini nature reserve with many animals, it is so cool, I was so delighted when I saw peacocks. There is also a swimming pool here, it is closed so you can swim even in cool weather, there is a tennis court where you can play, it is just super. There is also a grill here where you can cook something in the evening outdoors. The hotel itself looks gorgeous, a modern interior with wood inserts, it looks mega cool and cozy. The room is excellent, with a large balcony overlooking the territory. Large spacious rooms, clean, everything is new. You can immediately see that the owners put their soul into this place and it shows. I want you to know that we see and feel it. Very tasty breakfasts, a variety of pastries, freshly squeezed juice, fresh milk, cereal, eggs in different ways of cooking, delicious fruits and berries. You eat so much that it is enough for the whole day. The hosts are mega nice and sweet, they are accommodating, promptly respond to all requests. We needed to come earlier and they came to meet us, and we were able to relax in this wonderful place right after the airport. There are also toys and a small children's corner, which is useful for families with children, we just don't want to leave. There are no downsides here. I recommend it to everyone.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
