The property was neat. Too bad we couldn’t stay longer. The house itself is great. I would just suggest to maybe add Chaleira Elétrica to heat up water quickly 😅. But all in all, it’s aesthetically appealing and the staff were also great, kind and understanding. They offered us free breakfast specialties from their region. It was amazing 🤩.

The house is lovely, newly remodeled old place, completely furnished with special details that makes the stay very comfortable. Perfect for the hot summer days, maintain a cool temperature. You have everything you need included some typical Portuguese treats from the host. The house is situated a walking distance from a river beach and from some other beautiful natural spots in half an hour driving distance. Rosa, the host, was very gentle and attentive, replying quickly to our contacts. A wonderful stay, we will return!

The location of Moinho do Zorrão is really wonderful: directly at the still young river Zêzere, quiet and remote, we could hear the little river burble along at night. Also the little flat (we had the 2-person "chalet superior") left no wishes open. For us it had all the comfort needed, including some nice special "treats" that not all places have like a toaster, the book "Uma Aventura - Na Serra da Estrela" (a Portuguese classic for teenagers) and an instant camera. This little old mill is located outside the main part of Manteigas, but it is possible to walk to the centre to have dinner. We booked on very short notice, which put some pressure on the landlord. But he was friendly and made sure we have no problems getting in.

Casa do Loureiro is offering accommodation in Arganil. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay.

Everything was perfect. Lady owner was so kind like everybody in this village. So quiet and nice place with welcoming people. The apartment was cute old house with everhing you could need. Well equipped kitchen, porch with grill grate and also with coal.
