Chalet Ficalho was absolutely gorgeous, it exceeded every expectation. The garden and the pool were stunning and so relaxing, the owners were delightful to be around and the Chalet in itself is a gem, with wonderfully decorated and restored interiors and very confortable rooms. Will definitely be back & recommend 100% !

Absolutely amazing - the most perfect and courteous service ever. Clean, safe, so well appointed and everything was beyond expectations. The breakfast was way better than expected. We would recommend 100% to anyone. Don't even consider another accommodation in Cascais.

Charming art nouveau theme throughout with some lovely details. The house itself is worth exploring as a Sintra sight. Gorgeous views from the sitting room and my room. Very large room, quiet,and peaceful. 10-15 minutes' very scenic walk (no slopes!) to Sintra national palace and the historic centre, so it was close enough for sightseeing but not busy or noisy (which I like). The staff were wonderful: welcoming, friendly, unflappable and incredibly patient and helpful ( due to train strikes I had problems booking my transport to Porto and could not have managed without their help). I would stay again with no hesitation.

The property is nice and comfortable . It’s full of precious details everywhere. The breakfast room is comfortable and very elegant . There are a swimming pool and a fitness room. The food was delicious! We felt really as we were at home. Mr Vitorino and his staff are always ready to attend the guests when they need . We had an up grade and our room was big, well decorated and the air conditioner was working very well. The street is busy but the windows keep the noise outside. The bed and linens have good quality. It is located close to the beaches (Grande and Maçã)and also next to good restaurants at reasonable distance by car. There’s a very good vegetarian restaurant just in front. We will come back again for sure!

The room and bathroom were super clean and there is a little hanger to leave one’s soap, shampoo, etc in the shower cabin, which for some reason is missed in so many places! Our room was cleaned throughout the stay so that was a very nice addition!
