Set in the gorgeous countryside with amazing views of the mountains. Each cottage was surrounded by plants and vegetation so was very private and so peaceful. Staff were amazing and organised anything we needed. We had to last minute book an extra night and they upgraded us to the deluxe cottage which was lovely. We recommend booking this one if you value more space and it has a mini bar fridge. The communal area with tree house part was awesome too, with free tea/coffee/water.

The whole area was sooo adorable! I was excited about staying in these super cute cabins / villas! I showed everyone photos of these before my trip and they didn’t disappoint. The room is small but quaint and plenty of space for our little family as we spent most of the time swimming or out in day trips. The room cooled down quickly and the bathroom was neat and tidy. Each day we got breakfast which was perfect to start the day or in our cash re-fuel after an early swim. The meal had eggs toast and fruit. The ladies were so sweet and offered fried or scrambled eggs. We enjoyed our stay so much and everyone in Moalboal is friendly kind and honest. I love this place and honestly 4 days was great!!! I would stay longer to relax even more. It’s about 10 minute walk from the sardine run which is located right out side the front of the chill bar - you don’t need a guide BUT to get some incredible photos of you with the sardines I highly recommend it. When you walk into town there’s so many options for food you can’t go wrong. Also buy from the local vendors selling their trinkets. They are well priced honest and trustworthy. There’s a cute shop also right near the front stairs of the beach who does hair braiding which was perfect for my daughter and I to keep the hair out of our eyes whilst snorkeling every day. It’s much cheaper than the salons on Panagsama and the lady can add coloured strands.

Outside of the noise and business of Moalboal but still close by walking or with the scooter. They have an eco shop, which was great to refurnish on soap, as I haven't found any natural products in the other places I have visited. The outside shower is just great.

All cabins in Moalboal

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Unlike any other accommodation I’ve stayed in before, this is one of the best experiences I’ve had. Fully immersed in nature - the surroundings and sounds, it was a treat to be away from city life. The little bamboo hut was comfortable and the owners made me feel most comfortable with tips and help. Grateful to have experienced this!

The peace and quietness of the Lodge were great to wake up with every morning and to come back to every night. There is a lot to do in and around Moalboal and this place makes a perfect homebase, also for just lazing and doing nothing. The huts are very clean, the beds are good and nothing beats an outside shower. Simon and Angie are excellent, very helpfull and lovely hosts and their passion for eco Tourism and community building is inspiring. Thank you 🙏🏼
