The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. Ollantaytambo is an amazing town that has plenty to do! do yourself a favor and spend a few nights here! Stan and Edith are delightful hosts- so helpful and friendly. They helped us to organise some riding with their friend and gave us great info about a lovely local walk to Pumamarca. The room was really comfy and clean and the breakfast was great.

I spent 5 days in Casafranca. This place is something special. The rooms are large and nicely furnished, everything is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was the best I had on my whole trip to Peru, including homemade jam and granola. Vanessa is an excellent host. She helps in all matters. Her recommendations (restaurants and other) had been excellent. It is not a problem that Casafranca is not in the centre. Vanessa makes sure that you can get to the centre at any time. She took me to the first train to Aquas Calientes at 4.30 in the morning. I would stay at Casafranca again at any time!

An excellent place to stay that is close to the nature with a small river at the back and the breathtaking view of the mountains. Room was very spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly as well. I loved the small garden outside, an excellent place to take your breakfast accompanied with beautiful landscape of flowers and the mountains.

Secluded , the views were to die for not for the elderly however lots of walking up stairs to get to the dome , and if you stay in the suspended rooms well you will rock climb up there so need to have fitness as well as bravery I would say. Def pay for the hotel to pick you up as the road up the mountain is tight and a bit scary so you want someone who knows the roads ahead (I wouldn’t feel comphy with just a taxi) Waking up seeing the snow on the mountain was magnificent , sleeping under the stars was breathtaking. We stayed in July we are from Australia and they gave us a small heater and an extra blanket this was fine (I wore flannel pjs with singlet underneath) and socks to bed in the middle of the night I had to take singlet and socks off. My hubby worse his boxes like always haha . We didn’t have enough time to do the zip line of suspension bridge (don’t think my hubby wanted to do either) I would of done the bridge but yeah not sure the South American standards compared to aus would of ticked me over the line maybe if I were in my twenties I would of have no fear but other then that - the staff were beautiful and wanted us to have the best time, the dome is glamping for sure - but understand that you are literally 3500m above sea level we loved our 1 night stay and a perfect way to end our Peru trip .

Beautiful site by the river . The beds were so comfortable. Great breakfast and very friendly owners and staff . The area is safe and close to the archeological site and train station .

Eureka Lodge is located downtown of Ollantaytambo village, just 15 meters from the main tourist attraction of the town and 08 minutes walking distance from the train station to Machupicchu.

This hotel is a real hidden gem. The access is a bit tricky through country roads, but once you arrive and the gates open, it truly feels like paradise. The rooms are spacious and the service is excellent. On top of that, the hotel is located right next to sacred valley river where you can chill. And if you love animals, you’ll be delighted !! There are dogs, cat, rabbit, chickens, guinea pigs, and even a Lama !
