United KingdomMonkey lodge is a real gem - the family who run it are wonderful, and the food was wonderful. The setting is incredible. They organised transfers for us, and we paid extra for a boat tour where we got to hand feed monkeys - a once in a lifetime experience.

BelgiumMy time at this hostel was exceptional.
Eran and Liz were the kindest people, I arrived after 10 PM, and they still had a delicious plate of food waiting for me!
Throughout my entire stay, they were always very helpful and always available if I had any question. They helped me discover beautiful local places, delicious dishes and wonderful sceneries.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with everything you might need! They also cook great dishes that I highly recommend. Eran, the owner, even offers a series of super exciting tours, you should definitely check that out!
Veracruz is a beautiful little town, I will be back soon, and I'll be staying at Liz's Hostal!

United KingdomThis property was fantastic to stay at. The hosts Vicky and Cynthia went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. The service was 10/10 especially regard arrival and drop off from the ferry port (the hill is a biggie, but makes the views phenomenal). The Eco Lodge takes pride in recycling and looking after the environment. Activities such as hiking and Sea fishing were available in which I did both. Regarding hiking there are some fantastic whattsapp guides and the sea fishing was with a local man called Freddie, the trip was a success and two big Spanish mackerel were caught, it was a great day!
Everything from the service to the best pina colada on the island (thank you Vicki) was top notch. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay for anyone looking to travel to Taboga island.
