People make the difference in everything and our host, Sandra, wasnt the exception. She did her best so that we had a pleasant and comfy stay! When we arrived after a long day on the roads, she offered to upgrade us for a better sleep. Loved her! Her house? A small paradise for any hiker arriving at Turangi! Clean, spacious, easy for socializing, offering a variety of facilities and free parking! Definitely one of our best stays in whole new Zealand!

Spent a further pleasant stay at the lodge. Went half day trout fishing with Jason Bethune of Creel and Tackle shop next door. From lodge Drove 3mins to Chinese take away food for dinner.

We loved our stay at the Quarters. It was so clean and comfortable! The communal kitchen was also clean and well equipped. We also enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor area.. The location beside the river trail was great. It was easy to walk into town as well. It was also convenient for getting to and from the Tongariro Crossing hike. We would highly recommend The Quarters to other travellers.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Turangi, Motuoapa Bay Chalets is a chalet surrounded by views of the garden.

We loved the setting of the room, on the nice lake. The area was so quiet, that was also a special treat. The cooking facilities in the room were very good and handy. Housekeeping staff was very helpful.
