We only stayed here for one night, as we were only passing by, but it was so so lovely. The room was cosy, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, which is all you need for a short stay. Tony made us breakfast in the morning, taught us how to use the ‘french presser’ 😁, and he is just such a nice person, it was really a pleasure to meet him.

Tongariro Lodge is located in 22 acres of secluded grounds, surrounded by a beautiful garden landscape and along the banks of Tongariro River.

A very picturesque location and the grounds were amazing. The restaurant menu and food was exceptional.
