It’s cozy with good taste. The owner is down to earth and very easy to talk to like a good old friend. She pampers us well with free snacks in the lounge along with a bottle of wine and some liqueurs. The TV has a variety of channels and we spent a great deal in the lounge just to chill and watching the sun go down. Our room is spacious with fridge, kettle along with tea, coffee and delicious muffins. We also made good friend with Benji the dog. Our stay was a very enjoyable 3 nights. We were aware of the walk up and we made plan to walk down to town do our things, finish our meal early afternoon and walk up slowly, it was fine with us and a great way to walk off the big meal we had ;D

The location was scenic and peaceful. The gardens were stunning, so we enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the views. John was extremely accommodating. We had to change our booking dates at short notice, and somehow, he managed to make it all work with no stress for us.
