I was told that staying in a motel was an important part of the New Zealand travel experience and I'm so happy that I chose to stay in what definitely deserves to be rated as the best motel in NZ. Everything about the place was just perfect, from the incredibly friendly reception and helpful tips and recommendations to the beautiful, spotless room with every thing you could ever want or need. I actually was quite taken back by how well equipped the kitchen was with everything that one could ever want. Thank you for all of your kindness and a really lovely comfortable stay. Wow! All the special touches on top of an already perfect accommodation! We felt well cared for, like old friends. The extra large soaker tub was well appreciated after hiking the Abel Tasman. Quiet, despite being next to the road, with lovely little private patio and garden. Short stroll along the river to the grocery for dinner makings. Couldn't have been better.
